Chris Polak

Chris Polak ‘Polly’ is a Melbourne and Byron Bay-based chef, creative, and founder of Polly’s, whose work sits at the intersection of food, storytelling, hospitality, and place. For Chris, food is more than something to be consumed. It is a way of communicating, connecting, and telling stories, whether through a single ingredient, a communal table, or an entire conceptual experience. His practice moves between intimate dinners, creative briefs, always returning to the same question: how do you make people feel?

Kate Davis

Kate Davis is a multidisciplinary artist based in Melbourne who has never operated within a single form. Over two decades, her practice has moved fluidly across performance, visual art, design, dramaturgy, floristry - and now, death doula work. As Co-Artistic Director of experimental performance company THE RABBLE, she has made nineteen new works and collaborated with some of Australia’s most significant arts organisations. What connects all of it is a deep curiosity about the things we find hardest to look at - and a belief that art can hold space for them.

Ami Morris

Melbourne-based artist Ami Morris works across painting and sculpture - building surfaces slowly, through accumulation and instinct, until the work tells her what it is. Her large-scale abstract paintings are dense with material history: crumbs of oil pastel, cotton, found objects, clumps of paint and string that have formed on their own. Alongside her paintings, she works in sculpture - building with scrap metal, found objects, and whatever materials are close at hand. Across both, it's the physical world around her that drives the work.

Christopher Myles Henderson

Melbourne-based painter Christopher Myles Henderson has always followed his instincts. Rooted in a rural upbringing, his practice is built from the materials closest to hand, the experiences that have shaped him, and a willingness to let the work go wherever it leads - using what he calls a “symbolic language to translate the unspoken into form.” His upcoming exhibition Allegedly - incorporating sculpture and one thousand drawings of the same car, shaped by three years teaching art inside a youth prison - asks hard questions about access, systemic failure, the role of the media, and where we choose to put our money as a society.

Tariq Oliver

Born in Lagos, and having lived across London, Madrid and now New Jersey, Tariq Oliver is a painter whose work is shaped by a life lived across continents and cultures. He came to painting not through art school but through loss, through movement, through a gradual understanding of what he was always meant to be doing. Working primarily in oils, his canvases hold the weight of lived experience: grief, beauty, the emotional landscape of everyday life, all translated into vivid, layered form. He is a painter who trusts the process above all else, and lets the work tell him what it needs.

Hattie Molloy is an Australian installation artist, object maker, and creative director whose work sits somewhere between the botanical and the otherworldly. Rooted in a deep fascination with nature, process, and the surreal, her practice spans floral design, sculpture, photography, and large-scale installation. She recently left Melbourne for Daylesford, where a garden awaits and a global audience watches.
